Student group trips in Morocco

We organise trips around Morocco for students travelling together: university societies, Erasmus groups, educational groups, or friends who study together and want to see the country as a group.

Each trip is planned for your group: the route, number of days, transport and an optional desert night are adapted to group size, dates and what you want to see.

Who these trips are for

This isn't a shared tour: your group travels on its own, with its own itinerary. If you're travelling solo and want to join other travellers, see our shared tours.

Route ideas for student groups

These starting points are based on routes we already run. Order, stops and nights are adapted to your group.

The kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou with its mud-brick houses on the hillside

Marrakech and the Merzouga desert

Over the High Atlas, past the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and through the Dades Valley to the Erg Chebbi dunes. The most common choice for groups who want to see the south and the Sahara from Marrakech.

View over the Fes medina with its rooftops and minarets

Fes to Marrakech via the Sahara

A one-way route: the Fes medina first, then the Middle Atlas, Merzouga and back towards Marrakech through the southern valleys. Useful when the group arrives in one city and leaves from the other.

Imperial cities and the north

Rabat, Meknes, Volubilis, Fes, Chefchaouen and Marrakech, focused on medinas, heritage and city life. The desert can be added if the group has extra days.

Optional night in the Merzouga desert

A night in Merzouga is an option, not a fixed part of every trip. When the itinerary includes it, the desert stay includes accommodation, dinner and breakfast, and camp access is by camel or 4x4 depending on the camp.

Ibrahim, founder of Marruecos Experiences, is from Merzouga and his family runs Merzouga Glamping. The specific camp is confirmed according to group size and dates.

How we plan your group's trip

  1. 1. You tell us the basics

Approximate number of students, possible dates, arrival and departure city, days available and the group's interests.

  2. 2. We suggest a route

We put together a realistic itinerary for those days and make clear whether it includes a desert night.

  3. 3. We adjust transport and accommodation

Travel is by private vehicle with driver; the vehicle type (car, minivan or 4x4) and how many are needed are confirmed according to group size. We offer hotel or riad pickup and airport transfers.

  4. 4. Quote and confirmation

The price depends on the number of participants, season, route and accommodation level, so it is always confirmed on request.
