About Marruecos Experiences

I'm Ibrahim, a local guide in Merzouga, a small town next to the Erg Chebbi dunes in south-eastern Morocco. Living close to the Sahara has let me get to know the landscapes, routes and everyday life of this part of the country first-hand.

Travel has always been one of my great passions. I love discovering new places, learning different ways of living and sharing experiences with people from many countries. That same passion for travel is what inspired me to create Marruecos Experiences together with my family.

Our goal is to help travellers get to know Morocco through itineraries that connect historic cities, mountains, kasbahs, valleys, coast and desert, offering private tours as well as certain shared options and tailor-made trips.

Marruecos Experiences is a project created within the family. The idea came from a wish to share our knowledge of Morocco and make it easier for travellers to plan routes through different regions of the country.

We believe a good experience starts with clear information, direct communication and an itinerary tailored to the kind of trip each person is looking for.

Merzouga is our home and one of the places we know best. Set next to the Erg Chebbi dunes, it's one of the main gateways to the Moroccan Sahara and features in many of our routes through the south of the country.

But Marruecos Experiences isn't limited to the desert. We also organise itineraries connecting Marrakech, Fez, Chefchaouen, the Atlas mountains, Ait Ben Haddou, the Dades Valley, Essaouira and other destinations across Morocco.

I love travelling because every trip lets you discover new landscapes, cultures and ways of living. With Marruecos Experiences I want to share that same feeling with the people who come to see Morocco.

The idea isn't simply to take a traveller from one point to another, but to help them understand the route better, know what to expect, and choose a trip that truly fits their available days and their way of travelling.

Our connection to Merzouga is also part of the experience we offer our travellers. Our family runs Merzouga Glamping, a camp in the Merzouga area next to the Erg Chebbi dunes.
